On wednesday night, our team had the privilege of listening to Megan Weisheipl.
Megan joined her good friend and mentor Bob Heilig in 2019 as a coach within his program. In 2020 together they started Next Level Leadership, the program that has a number of other ZYIA Leaders.
In 2021 Megan became a Certified Life Coach and is completing her first book.
Megan is an amazing mentor and has a passion for coaching the Love Serve Grow framework to people.

During the call, Megan shared the importance of feeling the natural response to our emotions and learning to recognize when it's time to move forward from them. She described the stories we choose to tell of ourselves as green and red light stories.
As you would've guessed, red light stories give our limiting beliefs the power to keep us stuck. Greenlight stories, are what we need to keep our eye on the prize and finally become the best version of ourselves.
A red light story sounds like this:
"I can't send out party invites because I don't want to annoy my friends or be salesy!”
A green light story sounds like this
"If I send out party invites, I will be giving my friends the opportunity to get the pair of leggings they have been wanting! They will be so happy when their order finally comes and I will be one step closer to hitting my party goals!"
See the difference? This isn't crazy science, it's learning to steer our thoughts and minds in the direction that will benefit us the most.
Mike and I will be speaking at the New year's training conference this weekend. This is an opportunity that gives us perspective on how worth it this journey has been.
Red light stories STILL happen to us. But every day we choose to give ourselves the space to feel the emotions and then push forward with the green light story we need to support our team, family, and those we have made promises to.
Here is what you can ask yourself.
Am I stuck in a red light story? What thoughts are keeping me there and are they true?
Need help with developing your green light story? Let's get on a call or send us a message.
We are always happy to help you get to your green light.
